Faith To Be Health

Faith to be Healthy Plan of Work:

The Faith to be Healthy Ministry began more than 13 years ago with a grant and has continued to expand and grow over the years.  It is a self supporting ministry of Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church and our goal is to reach members and the community helping people to be healthy.

Mission:
The overall goal of Faith to be Healthy is to plan, coordinate, and implement a program that will address lifestyle changes, raise awareness and provide education that will empower members and the community to take action to become spiritually, physically and mentally healthy.

FTBH partners with the Center for African American Health (CAAHealth) and other organizations as appropriate to carry out planned programs, activities and screenings.   Topics may include nutrition, physical activity, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, high blood pressure, stress management, depression and certain cancers.

Our Scripture:

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. (Psalms 37: 23) Order my steps in Thy word.

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. Romans 1:17 KJV

The same was in the beginning with God. John 1:2 KJV
